According to a Tweet from the official account, Monster Hunter World is currently being optimized for PC and is planned for an Autumn 2018 release.
In the video below, Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto thanks fans for their feedback and explains that although the console version will be out on Friday, January 26, the team is taking an extra time optimising the PC version. He also briefly mentions that the game will receive free updates after launch, including new monsters. We'll let you know as soon as a PC date is announced.
