The first Far Cry 5 Live Event is now available for the game, and it's called 'Well Done'. It's the first of hopefully many Live Events for the game, which are one-off quests to get great rewards you can use in the Far Cry 5 campaign, co-op, or Arcade.

What is the Far Cry 5 Well Done Live Event?
It's the first Live Event for Far Cry 5, which are temporary one-time-only missions with a personal goal and a community goal. The 'Well Done' event lasts for one week, and will expire on April 10. Players who take part have a specific and tricky goal - to kill animals with fire, but without using the Flamethrower or Molotov Cocktails.
Far Cry 5 Well Done Live Event - How To Take Part
Head to the Inventory/Journal etc pages and click or cycle to the tab for 'Online'. You'll be presented with three columns (above), and Live Events are on the left. Select that and you'll be asked if you want to opt in to the Well Done event. Say yes, of course.
Far Cry 5 Well Done Live Event - Rewards
There are four rewards - two for completing Personal Goals, and two for completing Community Goals. At this point the Community Goal has been completed already, so you'll get two rewards straight away - 50 Silver Bars and the Flamebearer Outfit (above). The mask at least is kinda cool, reminds us of Bioshock.
The Personal Goals you'll have to do yourself. Get 10 Fire Kills without a Flamethrower or Molotov and you'll get Silver Bars, and get to the maximum of 20 Kills and you'll get the Flamebearer Prestige Flamethrower.
Far Cry 5 Well Done Live Event - How To Succeed
Here are some weapons you can use to beat the event:
- Bow and Incendiary Arrows – Easiest way is to get a Bow and change ammo to these Incendiary Bolts, although you'll have to go back for more.
- Shotgun and Incendiary Shells – powerful shotgun blasts plus fire, that'll do it.
- Blowtorch – Really difficult to pull off as you'll have to get close to do it, and only predators trying to eat you will get that close.
- Cluster Bombs – some planes drop flaming cluster bombs, which is both overkill and difficult to pull off at the same time. Best stick to other methods.
- Flamethrower and Molotovs – can't be used directly, but can be used to set grass or areas on fire if you can herd the animals into the flames.

Just head out into the wilderness, somewhere with a lot of deer preferably, and go nuts. One note: you cannot use Sharky Boshaw. Your fire-loving companion has a great incendiary shotgun, but it won't count as your kill if Sharky gets them, even if it's just from the flames. Leave Sharky alone, but make sure to bring Boomer along so he can sniff out any animals (or cultists) in the vicinity.
