Ion Maiden is a retro-style FPS made in the Build Engine that powered the likes of Duke Nukem 3D, Blood and Shadow Warrior back in the '90s, and like those games there are a load of secrets in the game - charmingly referred to as Dick's Secret Stashes.
Some are really devious, so you'll need our Ion Maiden Secrets Guide to find all of them! And we've got Duke Nukem, Portal and Twin Peaks Easter Eggs too for you! Check it out below!

Defence Farce
Secret 1: Immediately as you start, head out and press the lever on the pillar. A small panel on the right will open. Head through.
Secret 2: In the first room with all the glass panels, jump on the one above and up into the ceiling beams. There's some goodies up there.
Secret 3: In the area with a walkway between two locked offices, shoot the ladder above to knock it down. Head up, for the next secret, and if you wish - blow up the barrel in the red area above to get a level-skip to Washington Wasteland!
Secret 4: In the control room above with panels and chairs, push one of the chairs through the metal doorway until it's under the window to the red light room above. Jump on the chair and through the window.
Secret 5: In the same red secret room as you head out there's a switch by the door. Flip it and it'll (partially) raise the door in the room across the walkway. Crouch to get inside.
Washington Wasteland
Secret 6: Clear the opening area. Now, see the structure in the middle with a light on the top of it? Jump carefully up it to get the portable medkit. Note: you might have to actually jump around the pillar, it's quite tricky.
Secret 7 - Portal & Duke Nukem 3D Easter Egg: Difficult one this. At the end of the street there's a red car on its side. Jump on it, now note the ladders hanging off the lampposts. Jump to the nearest, go up, and jump to the building across. Then jump from the building to the next lamppost ladder, up, and back to the building. The building has a ladder - head up, press the switch in the picture above, then that drops another ladder.
Head up and you've got the secret room and Ion Maiden's first Easter Egg - and it's a double! The room itself is clearly designed like an Aperture Science Test Chamber from Portal, and in the side room there's a (moving!) Companion Cube, the infamous cake which Shelly comments on, and Ratman-style scrawling on the wall, which read "Cops are Pigs" - clearly a further nod to Duke Nukem 3D, where the cops are literally pigs.
Secret 8: Back near the beginning, there's a collapsed building on the left next to a room full of enemies that explodes if you enter it. Instead, jump into a hole in the collapsed building and progress until you see the beams above. Jump carefully across them, then on to the ramp on the right for the next secret stash.
Secret 9: Don't jump down yet! Across from the beams there's an incline on the building - jump to it, walk to the end and there's a broken window you can jump through for the next stash.
Secret 10: Make your way to the room above. Head up the ramp and there's a row of blue computers next to another ramp. At the start of the blue computers there's a hole labelled "Maintenance Access". You can either jump around from the ramp into the hole, or push a chair down from the room above and then jump on it to get into the hole that way.
Secret 11: Head to the room above with the red particles in a container. On the right is a switch that's easy to overlook. Flip it and a hatch will open containing some armour.
Secret 12: In the first big office right at the back there's a big picture of some trees above some plants. Jump on the plants, then turn around and head to the big pillar in the centre of the room - a small panel has just opened on the right of it with the next secret.
Secret 13: Head through the nearby 'Employees Only' door into the kitchen. There's a small gap under the dishwasher. Go under it and you'll see a tiny red button. Push it and the wall will lower behind you to reveal the next secret.
Secret 14: Back to the ruined office room again, and on the left in the wall there's a vent cover. Shoot it, climb on the barrier and jump into it. Shoot the fan and you'll be in a flooded and electrified bathroom with some goodies, if you're careful getting them.
Secret 15: Head to the broken window of the same office room. Jump along the window boxes, hugging the building, until you reach a grey pillar. You're going to have to jump around it and back in, as there's an opening just on the other side of the pillar with armour. We suggest saving first.
Secret 16: In the room above between the two offices there's a vent in the wall. Shoot it, then push the chair up to it to get inside. It heads outside - hug right on to the brown beam, and at the end of it there's a false wall. Use it to get the secret inside.
Secret 17: In the room above there's some greenery on the left. Kill the enemies and head to it, and you'll spot an odd wall next to a suspicious brick. Press the brick and it'll open a secret passage.
Secret 18: In the very Wolfenstein-like room above, doesn't that whole setup look suspicious? Head to the bookcase, press the standout red book, and the fireplace will spin Indiana Jones-style.
Secret 19: Head to the bathroom above with the whole in the wall. Save. Edge out the window carefully - see the brown brick sticking out of the wall? Jump to it, then jump into the next window.
Secret 20 - Insulting Easter Egg: Awkward one this, but worth it. Head back to that office and push a chair along all the way to the elevator, down, then through the yellow key door that leads to the level exit. Shoot the huge fan on the wall to the left, jump on the chair, and in.
Er... okay, maybe it wasn't worth it - but hey, a bit of fourth-wall breaking never hurt anyone. Why not take your anger out on the insulting message? You might be surprised.
Bonus Secret - Twin Peaks Easter Egg: This isn't an official Secret Stash but it's a major Easter Egg. Press the switch that opened the exit elevator again and it'll spark. Now, head all the way back to the Red Particle room and Secret 11. Quickly go down into where you got the armour in the secret, then just as quickly leave. If you're fast enough you should see that the wall across from the secret is now open, revealing a mysterious red room.
Shelly will comment "now ain't this dreamy?" as it's a reference to the red room seen in the dream sequence from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me - also famously referenced in The Simpsons episode 'Who Shot Mr Burns? Part 2'. There's a message on the wall for you... but we'll leave that as a surprise.
