Epic Games has released a new video detailing all the new additions and improvements coming in the Save the World Dev Update #17, including several changes to Energy Ammo, Perk Re-Rolls, and news on the 4.0 roadmap.

Energy Ammo Changes

The system has been changed to allow players 25% more ammo per craft, after several complaints that the system was too difficult previously. Epic has also added more Bacon in the world; players receive 20% more Energy Ammo any time they find it in the containers inside the world.

Perk Re-Rolls

A much-requested change, players will now be able to re-roll individual perks using in-game resources - meaning you won’t have to spend any real-world money to do so. You can now also pick which slot you’d like to re-roll.

4.0 Roadmap

Epic also gave a few hints as to what players can expect in v4.0; these include a brand new event, a military weapons set, and Shadow Ops heroes. It will include a Soldier with a brand new ability.
