Alan Wake 2 was announced as an Epic Games Store exlcusive, joining multiple other titles that are currently only available through Steam’s competitor. It also makes questions about a release date on Valve’s storefront absolutely expected.
Is Alan Wake 2 coming to Steam?
If most titles that take a similar route end up shedding their exclusivity after about a year or so, things could be different for Remedy’s sequel. Not only is Alan Wake 2 an EGS exclusive, it is also published by Epic Games, who has yet to mention any plans about bringing it to Steam.

Since Epic is publishing the title, and given its differences with Valve when it comes to the percentage their storefronts pay developers, we could have a longer wait ahead of us.
