Aliens: Fireteam Elite is one of the most anticipated co-op shooters of the year, aiming to fix the spotty track record of games that pit Marines against Xenomorphs. With the release of its second season near, players looking to blast apart bugs with their trusty <a href=”https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/aliens-fireteam-weapons-list”M41A2 Pulse Rifle might be wondering if the title will make its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2021 would mark another step in the right direction for Microsoft’s subscription service, which already boasts an impressive library of games, both on console and PC.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite Xbox Game Pass
The game wasn’t available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, regardless if your platform of choice was PC or console. If you planned to see how the shooter held up in the first months after release, both you and your friends had to choose the path of a traditional purchase.
Developer Cold Iron Studios revealed later in December that its co-op shooter will, after all, become available on Microsoft’s subscription service. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is slated to arrive on Xbox Game Pass on December 14, when its second season also drops.
The title is set to receive additional post-launch content throughout 2022. As its Year 1 roadmap shows, plans are in place for two more seasons’ worth of free content, one of which will add a new playable class.
