Developer Amplitude Studios is celebrating its 13th anniversary with a round of discounts and updates, as Amplified 2024, this year’s iteration of its annual community event kicks into full gear. Leading the charge are patches for action rogue-lite Endless Dungeon and 4X strategy game Humankind.
In addition, the entire Amplitude Studios catalog is discounted, which makes it a great time to get into any of the studio’s games, including the excellent Endless series, or complete your DLC collection.

PC players can now dive into Endless Dungeon’s Wild Cards update, which introduces Station Cards as a new means of customizing your attempts to reach the station’s core. As soon as you enter a new district, you can choose one card that provides a bonus to economy, turrets, medkits, and more.
To counter this, district drawbacks give each zone a modifier to which you’ll need to adapt. Making things even more challenging, four alternative monster variants also enter the fray, including an acid beam spider.
Several new free skins have also been added, while both PC and console players can now play with a full Japanese voiceover and two Japan-themed skins.
You can read the full patch notes over on the forums.
Humankind’s Georges Sand update rebalances several cultures across the base game and all its DLCs, while the new dev mode menu makes it easier for modders to test their creations.
The non-exclusive culture option can now be toggled on during game setup, allowing multiple empires to play as the same culture.
Additional map generation options are also in, letting you tweak map ratio alongside wonder and independent people density, as have “over a dozen new AI personas.”
Again, the full patch notes wait on the forums.
Below, we’ve highlighted a handful of discounts you can take advantage of during Amplified 2024.
