Anthem has been having a hard time ever since launch, and much like what's been going on with Bethesda's Fallout 76, the trouble seems to be rather unceasing. As of late, die-hard fans have started to rile against the game, too.
Anthem boycott is the latest fashion, because this is one of the most upvoted threads on the game's official subreddit, counting a number of Reddit Silver, Gold, and even Platinum awards given by other users.
Anthem Reddit boycott thread is, at the time of writing, counting over 9000 upvotes, 10 Silver, 4 Gold, and 2 Platinum, and calls for players to "stop playing from 03/11/2019 - 03/15/2019 to make a point."
"Time Invested Vs. Reward is a complete Joke at this point. Getting Gold and Platinum thrown at you for just stating that is more than enough to prove that point," said the OP, asking the rest of the users whether they are willing to stick to their beliefs.
Anthem's latest update, which changes loot distribution and drop rates across the board, seems to be the main reason behind this call to action, though the OP also mentions a lack of worthwhile cosmetics as a critique. They say that "all it'd take for us to really enjoy the game, is to receive loot." A sensible argument, we suppose.
If you aren't keeping track of things, perhaps you'd be interested in reading about how Anthem is lying about its damage numbers, too?
