Antigraviator, a sci-fi hover-mobile racing game, has just received a brand new update today, called 'Pure Racing'. Pure Racing refers to the game's new Pure Mode, which gets rid of unnecessary traps and pickups, leaving your skill the only decisive gameplay factor.
Players can race using Pure Mode both in quickplay and in the main campaign modes, which means that, if you don't enjoy pickups and the like, you can safely ignore them altogether, no matter what you do in Antigraviator. Alongside this purist mode of play, Update 1.1 also brings a list of fixes and changes.
Firstly and perhaps most importantly, you can now rebind controls however you wish, on both keyboards and controllers. Switching between camera views has also been added, with a bumper cam coming soon as well. Leaderboards are also available for each track, separated by mode of play.
To entice online play, developers have also decided to double the amount of credits received, which are also divided among all of the competitors instead of only going to the top players. Performance has been improved even further, and screenspace reflections have been added if your gaming rig can run the stuff.
Finally, some of the crashes and bugs have been addressed, but the developers hope that players will report further issues should they arise. As of now, there are no plans to alter the functionality of vehicles (to allow drifting, for example), but the devs will keep working on the game and releasing post-launch content.
