Apex Legends has, since its surprising release, played host to a wide variety of bugs both funny and annoying, and we've not yet decided if this latest one is the former or the latter just yet.
Apex Legends Supply Bin bug allows players to launch themselves into the air using the game's most common variant of supply drops, as depicted in the image above. It's only a matter of time before Respawn patch it up, so continue reading how to reproduce this bug while you still can!
How to Launch into the Air Using a Supply Bin in Apex Legends?
The way this works is that you can transfer some amount of kinetic energy from your melee punches over to the Supply Bin, which in turn allows you to direct virtually all of it into a sky-high jump, if you leap on top of the poor bin that you've been kicking and punching.
It's really quite simple - all you need to do is open a Supply Bin and then deal some damage to it before jumping onto its open lid. This will launch you across a large distance, though mostly vertically, thus allowing you to gain a potentially crucial advantage over your opponents. High ground and all that.
It goes without saying that, while fun and ridiculous in its own right, the Supply Bin launch bug can't stick around for long if Respawn and EA want Apex Legends to stay healthy, so we're bound to be getting a fix just next week. Until then, keep that verticality up.
