Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a veritable treasure chest of varied gameplay features and fascinating set-pieces, not least of which are the numerous Epic Ship encounters Odyssey lets players participate in.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey Epic Ships are high-end, difficult-to-sink vessels which are scouring the seas before you, and so, you're tasked with tracking them down and destroying them for good. Here we're going to take a gander at how to find Epic Ships in Odyssey.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey Epic Ship locations are, in fact, suspiciously easy to find. Tracking down Epic Ships requires little more input than selecting the dedicated noticeboard entry and following where the thing leads you. As it stands, there are two Epic Ships in Odyssey: The Black Wind and The Flying Ikaros.
The Black Wind is the very first Epic Ship released by Ubisoft, and in order to try and take its fleet and crew on, be sure to select the 'Bounty on an Athenian Ship' noticeboard entry. Keep in mind, however, that this bounty will not be available to you unless you've reached level 30 or higher. The encounter itself will have you face off against three powerful ships, so prepare accordingly.
The Flying Ikaros encounter can be kickstarted by selecting the noticeboard entry titled 'Bounty on a Pirate Ship'. The Flying Ikaros can be found plaguing the area around the Volcanic Islands (Thera, Anaphi, Nisyros), so go there to try and sink the bastard.
Taking down Epic Ships will award you various amounts of rare currency and resources, as well as unique skins. Of course, as Ubisoft release more Epic Ship encounters into the wild, we'll keep this article up-to-date, so stay tuned.
