What is the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Odin’s spear location? Where exactly can you find Gungnir and how far into the game does it become available?
AC Valhalla is no stranger to mythological elements, going as far as letting Eivor wield Gungnir, provided players can first find the location of Odin’s spear.
While reaching it isn’t particularly difficult, you can only do so after a certain point in the game. This guide explains when that happens, but keep in mind that it will also spoil elements of the game’s story.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla Odin's Spear Location
You won’t be able to find the Odin’s spear location in AC Valhalla until you get access to the main mission called A Brother’s Keeper, toward the end of the game.
If you were hoping on using Gungnir earlier, there doesn’t seem to be a way to do it. You’ll need to see the mission through to its end, successfully defeat Odin in the process, all while he’s wielding the spear.
You can then return to the Goinnhellir cave found in northeastern Hordafylke. Follow it until you reach a crack through which Eivor can squeeze.
You’ll see Gungnir stuck in the wall, emitting a blue glow. That’s the AC Valhalla Odin’s spear location you’re after.
Simply approach it and interact with the mythical weapon to pull it out of the wall. You’ll then be able to put its exceptionally long reach to good use.
