Like its predecessors, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla comes with a Season Pass that’ll likely contain the bulk of its post-launch content.
Although its contents are usually kept secret, a leak on the German Uplay store revealed what its promised bonus DLC story mission is about.

ResetEra user SoulsHunt discovered that the description for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Season Pass on the German Uplay store reads as follows:
- Get epic new content, explore new lands and find new equipment.
- Includes the Story Mission: The Legend of Beowulf. Discover the cruel truth behind the legend.
By contrast, the EU store only mentions an upcoming Story Mission available at launch, without pointing out that it follows The Legend of Beowulf.
This could suggest that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will follow in Odyssey and Origins’ footsteps, tapping into the mythological aspects of Norse culture. Battling Grendel does sound quite epic.
The bonus DLC story mission leak also comes right after Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s disappointing gameplay trailer that notoriously featured no actual gameplay, some fans being quick to point out their dissatisfaction.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set to launch during Holiday 2020 on PC, Xbox Series X, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and Google Stadia.
