Players are starting to get their first taste of Battlefield 2042’s 128-player Conquest mode as the open beta just went live this morning, although some players are now reporting Unknown Error issues and are finding themselves unable to connect to EA’s Servers
The Reddit page for Battlefield 2042 is currently filled with many complaints about the Unknown Error issue, although EA is working on a possible fix, which is related to so many people trying to access the open beta.
The servers are overloaded at the moment, which is why others are reporting unable to connect to EA’s Servers messages too.
Battlefield 2042 Unknown Error
Battlefield 2042’s Lead Community Manager has acknowledged the Unknown Error reports on Twitter, asking players to “sit tight” as EA “scales up” all of its servers to meet demand from the Open Beta.
“If you’ve met our friend ‘Unknown Error’ - Sit Tight. This isn’t on your end, we’re just scaling up all of our servers to meet the demand #BattlefieldBeta”
While you wait for the servers to be fixed, you can learn more about the Open Beta start and end dates here.
