With a standalone version of Battlerite Royale on the way, it was only to be expected that we'd start getting some specialised promotional materials as well, and the very first trailer has now been released into the wild.
Skydiving from the back of a giant dragon, players will find themselves in an environment that will be both familiar and foreign to them: familiar because they know how MOBAs work; foreign because they'll essentially be playing a battle royale game.
Though this offshoot of Battlerite will be somewhat scaled back when it comes to the selection of Champions, developers promise that the initial set of heroes will be fairly varied and interesting, as well as streamlined to maintain a faster pace of play.
For example, the general time-to-kill of skills will be diminished somewhat, and the skill ranges potentially increased across the board, which will accommodate the brand new map - this is 30 times larger than what we've see in Battlerite as of yet.
Battlerite Royale is set to launch via Early Access this September, though you can also sign up to take part in the game's closed beta testing phase, if you're really stoked to give it a try.
