A new game from E-Line Media, developers of Never Alone, is coming to Steam in June. Beyond Blue is a single-player adventure that takes you on a narrative journey through an untouched world. Play as Mirai, a deep sea explorer as she joins a newly-formed research team to study the secrets of the deep.
Set in the near future, groundbreaking new technologies let you interact and analyse ocean life in more detail than ever before. A full voice cast featuring actors from Toy Story, Babylon 5, and Black Sails, aims to bring the narrative to life. This will be further aided by a captivating soundtrack with an original score and music from Miles Davis, the Flaming Lips, and others.
Beyond Blue Release Date
A partnership with BBC Studios (developers of the acclaimed Blue Planet II documentary), OceanX Media, and some of the leading experts in ocean life will help to flesh out the visuals of the undersea world in never before seen ways, crafting “the awesome wonder and unbounded mystery that infuses our planet’s beating blue heart.”
The game is also set to include sixteen mini-documentaries called Ocean Insights. These will be made up of original footage and interviews with science’s leading ocean experts.
The game is due out in June, and is available on Steam.
