Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now out, and a fair few of our questions about the game have already been answered, though some remain unknown. The matter of Bloodstained COOP, for example, is one such question.
If you're wondering does Bloodstained have COOP, you've come to the right place. It just so happens that the situation isn't exactly clear-cut as it stands, so there's bound to be some confusion about the whole thing. Read what we've got below for a conclusive answer, though.
Does Bloodstained have COOP?
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has not launched with cooperative multiplayer support, sadly. However, there are already plans to implement it down the line - both in local and online multiplayer modes! The game will get over a dozen free DLC releases post-launch, one of which will be multiplayer, too.
We've got no idea on when, exactly, will cooperative multiplayer come to Bloodstained, but it is coming for sure, alongside two additional playable characters, Roguelike mode, Chaos mode, Classic mode, Boss Revenge mode, and many others.
With that in mind, Bloodstained does have a paid DLC pack, too: Iga's Backpack, priced at $9,99. It contains an additional weapon, the Swordwhip, and a whole new boss encounter with the producer of the game, Koji Igarashi.
