Breathedge takes what was meant to be an uneventful space funeral and turns it into a somewhat desperate attempt at navigating the wreck of a space hearse and getting out of the entire conundrum alive. Tools like the Grabber make it so that you won’t need to risk cutting or burning yourself while handling all manners of jagged ship parts and materials required to push forward.
Although you obtain the means of crafting the Grabber early on in Breathedge, you’ll need to go out hunting for resources before you can actually put the tool to good use. It’s part of the game’s plethora of crafting-based puzzles that fuel exploration.
You obtain the blueprint for the Grabber as soon as you waltz inside the ship that acts as a safe haven during chapter 1. Pick up the back scratcher near the bed and it’ll be added to your inventory automatically.
You can craft the tool at any Processor but will first need to get one Refined Metal, Battery, Wire, and Aluminum. All components are fairly easy to find, which definitely helps.
The Grabber is required to safely pick up Glass in Breathedge, when looking to move past the first chapter, and when extracting Alkali or Resin. Like other similar tools, its durability decreases with use. For more help with Breathedge, check out our guides on Light Bulbs and multiplayer.
