Publisher Super.com and developer PortaPlay today released a new trailer for story-driven tactical RPG Broken Lines focusing on character interactions and narrative elements.
The latest Broken Lines trailer highlights how members of your squad of soldiers has different takes on how you should proceed in various situations, some more delicate than others, often coming at odds with each other.

Taking place during an alternate-history version of World War II, Broken Lines follows a squad of British soldiers that have crash-landed behind enemy lines in their attempth to get back home.
As they trek across Eastern Europe without any form of intel or support, they end up having to battle both enemies but also themselves. The title marries turn-based tactical combat with an emphasis on story and characters.
“Combat is similar to that of a turn-based tactical RPG, but soldiers move only when action phase starts. However, when new enemies and hazards appear, the game pauses to allow you to plan your reaction to this new change. “, its Steam page reads.
While it’s ultimately up to players to make choices, decisions affect not only the overall morale of the squad members but also the game’s entire region and the ending that players get.
