Call of Duty: Warzone is officially happening and, like with other multiplatform online titles, players are wondering about whether or not cross-platform play is supported.
Here’s everything you need to know about Call of Duty: Warzone cross-platform play and whether or not it’s supported.
Call of Duty: Warzone Cross-platform Play
Call of Duty: Warzone has been confirmed to feature cross-platform play, meaning that you’ll be able to play with and against other players on different platforms. The free-to-play title will be available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
On top of that, Call of Duty: Warzone will also feature crossplay and unified progression between its two “versions”.
Owners of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will find that everything they’ve already earned, like Battle Pass items, Operators, weapons and customization items, will all be automatically unlocked in Warzone. At the same time, all their Warzone progression will also count towards Modern Warfare’s.
Similarly, players who jump into Call of Duty: Warzone without owning Modern Warfare will find their Warzone progress and unlocked items waiting for them in Modern Warfare, should they ever choose to buy it.
