Can you play Phasmophobia solo? Does the recent horror sensation also feature a singleplayer mode?
Phasmophobia is known mainly as a co-op game, but its popularity inevitably leaves those interested in tackling its ghost hunts solo wondering about whether or not it has a singleplayer mode.
After all, horror isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and, even if your friends share your love for the genre, you might not always be able to synchronize and play together.
Phasmophobia Solo Singleplayer Mode
If you find yourself in that situation, we have good news. Phasmophobia can be played solo. It won’t necessarily be easy, but it can be done.
You can access Phasmophobia’s singleplayer mode by setting up a private lobby and starting the mission without inviting anyone to your party.
Playing Phasmophobia solo can, however, prove harder than with friends. The tasks that you’d otherwise share, you’ll now have to do entirely by yourself.
There’s also nobody to comfort you when the spooky ghost starts doing ghostly things. As the game gets pretty terrifying even with others nearby, it’s best to keep this in mind.
