Star Wars: Battlefront 2</b> has been going through some tough times as of late, but that doesn't mean that there's not much to be curious about in regard to the game's upcoming DLC. For example, while DICE's rendition of Clone Wars troopers isn't much to be writing home about, the upcoming heroes might be!
Over the coming months, starting October, DICE will release four new Clone Wars characters - two heroes, and two villains. True to form, these characters will be voiced by the original talent behind the beloved Clone Wars TV show, which is great news.
The very first character released this way, coming on 30th of October will be the infamous General Grievous, voiced by none other than Matthew Wood, who - as a gamer himself - is excited to be able to portray the character in such a different medium for the first time.
In November, we'll see Obi-Wan Kenobi introduced to Battlefront 2, voiced by James Arnold Taylor. "I still kind of wake up some days and go, ‘I . . . I get to be Obi-Wan Kenobi?’ It’s fantastic!" he said. Similarly joyous about this gig is Corey Burton, too, who voices Count Dooku, and whose content update will be coming sometime in January.
Finally, in February, Matt Lanter will get the chance to borrow his voice to Anakin Skywalker, and who is as big of a fan of Star Wars as he is happy to be a part of the franchise in such a prominent role. Here's hoping that some of the nostalgia around Clone Wars makes a glorious return with the coming DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
