Code Vein is out now, and it features a particularly excellent and in-depth character customization system - so you can create the exact character you want to see, right down to the shade of their clothes. But the problem is - that's not the default outfit your character's wearing, so a Code Vein hide armor option would be great.
You really can spend ages designing your character's outfit so it's just right, so it's really annoying when you start the game and - by default - you immediately have a jacket Blood Veil armor equipped, covering the outfit up. Is there a Code Vein hide Blood Veil or Mask option? If not, is there anything else you can do? Let's have a look.
Is there a Code Vein hide armor option to remove Blood Veil or mask?
We don't know about you guys, but we spent a good hour designing a perfect replica of Harley Quinn for our Code Vein avatar - so we were quite annoyed when we began the tutorial and she was immediately forced to wear a large boring baggy jacket Blood Veil for no apparent reason - and then we had to wear a mask too! Therefore we combed the game's menu for some sort of 'Hide Armor' or 'Hide Mask' option.
Now for the bad news - as of right now, there is no hide armor, Blood Veil or mask option in Code Vein. It may get patched in, or perhaps even modded in, but as of this moment - you're stuck with the game as it is.
So what can you do if you want to see the fantastic character outfit you designed? The only option is to wear an outfit that doesn't cover your character. You'll get the Blue Hounds jacket early on, for example - that offers a decent armor bonus and yet still mostly shows off your character completely. Beyond that, though, at the very least you'll be able to see your character without armor in the Home Base area.
