Publisher Kalypso Media and devleopers Yippee! Entertainment and Torus Games today announced that both Commandos 2 - HD Remaster and Praetorians - HD Remaster have locked down a PC release date of January 24, 2020.
Both Commandos 2 - HD Remaster and Praetorians - HD Remaster will then go on to release on other platforms at some point in Spring 2020.
Commandos 2 and Praetorians HD Remasters Release Date
Players looking to jump into the two remasters beofre their January release date can do so by pre-purchasing the titles through the Kalypso Store. Commandos 2 - HD Remaster and Praetorians - HD Remaster will be available there separately as well as part of a discounted double pack.
Pre-ordering the titles on the Kalypso Store grants access to the closed betas which kick off on December 13. Both betas come with a revamped tutorial, the titles’ campaign missions and skirmish maps. The Praetorians - HD Remaster closed beta will also include the game’s multiplayer mode.
Where Commandos 2 - HD Remaster brings back its iconic roster of characters seeing them tackle high-stakes missions during World War 2 in which tactics play a key role, Praetorians - HD Remasters travels further back in time, following an emerging Roman Empire on its path to conquest through Egypt, Gaul and Italy herself.
