In Cozy Grove, you’ll find yourself having to track down a plethora of objects and ingredients required by your newfound bear pals. Sometimes they’re relics of a bygone age, but you’ll also hunt down letters, and figure out how to get eggs.
You won’t have to bother too much with getting eggs in Cozy Grove very early on. This changes once you unlock Allison Fisher and have access to her bakery, as you’ll have a few recipes requiring them, but they may also be needed for quests every now and then.
Your main source of Cozy Grove Eggs, at least in the early days, are the various birds you can place around the island. A few are handed out as quest rewards but you can also purchase them from Mr. Kit’s shop. You need to feed them when they ask for it and they’re quite picky. One day they’ll want Mixed Greens you can easily obtain, another day they’ll want fancy baked food.
Once they’re fed, you’ll need to harvest them, but it’s a good idea to also ensure that they’re happy with their surroundings. This is indicated by the hearts above them. When all three are red, you’re more likely to also get an Egg alongside several essences.
Aside from birds, you can also get Cozy Grove Eggs from Mr. Kit, likely depending on how much you’ve upgraded his store. Pandam, the mysterious merchant who only visits the island on Wednesdays also sells them. Eggs can be used in various recipes, including some to craft their boiled and deviled versions.
