SFB Games is crafting a survival horror game called Crow Country that melds the UI reminiscent of the classic Resident Evil on PS1 with the aesthetic appeal of Final Fantasy 7. It’s set to launch in 2024 on Steam and PlayStation 5.
A demo is available for you to explore on Steam and the PlayStation Store. Here’s a chance for you to dive into the puzzles and uncover the secrets hidden within the park of Crow Country.
This is the overview sent to us by the publisher:
A Survival Horror adventure featuring: A rich atmosphere. A strong, tangible sense of place. A small but memorable cast of characters. Meaningful exploration. Engaging puzzles. And most of all - a beautiful, uncanny blend of tension and tranquillity.
The year is 1990. Edward Crow has disappeared. The owner of ‘Crow Country’ (a small theme park in the rural outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia), he has not been seen since he unexpectedly shut down his park two years ago. The silence is broken when a mysterious young woman named Mara Forest ventures into the heart of the abandoned theme park in order to find him
“This is the survival horror game you’ve been looking for. It’s really turned out to be something special.” said Adam Vian, creative director. “I seriously can’t wait for players to finally get their hands on it.”
Crow Country is due to be released in 2024 for PC and PlayStation 5. No other platforms were listed.
