Amazon Games’ free-to-play shooter Crucible aims to carve its own spot alongside its hero shooter peers. As with most multiplayer games, crossplay and cross-platform support are things that some fans are wondering about.
Here’s everything you need to know about Crucible crossplay and whether or not cross-platform support is available at launch.
Crucible Crossplay
At launch, Crucible will not feature crossplay. Although that might be disappointing to some, there’s a good reason for it: the game will only launch on PC.
It, thus, makes sense for Crucible to not come with cross-platform support since it won’t be a multi-platform release.
The team behind the title will also, seemingly, focus on its PC version for a good while. As website The Verge points out, “Relentless developers said they aren’t yet planning any big console release that would necessitate cross-play”.
With Crucible crossplay now covered, check out the title’s game modes and when its first seasons could begin and end.
