Publisher Paradox Interactive today announced that Crusader Kings 3’s Wards & Wardens Event Pack has locked down its release date to late August.
Chosen last winter via community vote, CK3’s Wards & Wardens DLC explores “the perils and potentials of being a child ruler” while fleshing out the process of educating the children at your court and allowing adult characters to further their learning.
Crusader Kings 3: Wards & Wardens Release Date
Aside from a variety of new events covering different stages of childhood, we’ll also hear four new music tracks as we bring our dynasty to glory or ruin.
Here are the the key features of Crusader Kings III’s Wards & Wardens Event Pack, as detailed by the publisher in an emailed press release:
- Childhood Education Events
- Visiting Universities for adult characters
- More Childhood Personality Events
- Hostage Events for foreign children placed at your court
- Child-rearing events with courtiers, including a new court position, the Wet-Nurse.
- Child Regency Events for the training or usurping of rulers who have not reached adulthood.
- Four New Music Tracks
The DLC will be accompanied a free update that introduces a new hostage system, the new Eccentric character trait, new event art, and new animations, for all owners of the base game.
Crusader Kings III: Wards & Wardens has locked down its release date to August 22, 2023, when it will become available on PC for the price of $4.99/£4.29/€4.99 or your regional equivalent.
In addition, it is also available via the Chapter II content pass, which includes all of the content the grand strategy game is set to receive in 2023
