It goes without saying that, after the first real gameplay video for Cyberpunk 2077 was released, the fanbase not only expanded by a significant amount, but it also went just a tiny bit mad from all the hype.
Having said that, a certain subset of these inevitable buyers of Cyberpunk 2077 won't be happy with only having purchased a copy of the game. Instead, what they'll be looking forward to is a fully-fledged Collector's Edition, with guides, steel cases, and all.
Not much has been said on the matter of Cyberpunk 2077 Collector's Edition so far, but the German PR Manager of CD Projekt RED, Fabian Döhla, has offered some thoughts on this to an interviewer from NightCityLife.de.
"We haven't announced one yet, but if there is the chance to do something cool and if the added value is right, then we will do one. I believe that was the case with Witcher and it had a good value for money compared to rival products. It just needs to fit and it has to be a nice package."
What should we expect from Collector's Edition for Cyberpunk 2077, then? Well, if The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is anything to go by - a lot of physical goodies; potentially an iconic statue, an artbook, definitely the soundtrack, a manual, and a map of Night City, perhaps? Guess we'll have to wait and see!
