Is your usual DayZ server kicking up a fuss? Having trouble logging on? Getting the same Verifying PBO failed message over and over? This article hopes to help you out, but this has long been known as a weird one, sometimes the solution is as simple as one, two, three; other times nothing helps at all. So, is there a fix?
The first thing to check is your mods, the PBO problem can present itself when the server is running a different version of a mod to you. In the DayZ launcher open the mods tab, right below where it says updated click the little circle arrows. This should verify the mods. You can also try unsubbing and resubbing the mods from Steam workshop.

You can also try loading in via the DZSA LAUNCHER. This program automatically downloads mods when you join a server, which will include the exact version of what you need. Reports exist that this doesn’t always help either but this should be tried before the nuclear option below.
Unsubcribe, uninstall and delete everything including the contents of your DayZ documents and the DayZ dta folder. Reinstall and try to load in through the launcher above to get the mods that server needs.
If it still isn’t working it’s likely a server side error affecting you and there’s not a lot more you can try except contacting the admins to see if they have a solution. If your server has an active out of game community you may want to try that before running through the nuclear option above too.
