Death Stranding, the highly anticipated and fairly divisive title from Kojima Productions, will not be an Epic Games Store exclusive.
At the end of October, Death Stranding was revealed to arrive on PC at some point during summer 2020. The announcement, however, did not indicate any storefront, leaving PC players wondering whether the Epic Games Store might nab it as an exclusive.
Death Stranding Epic Games Store Steam
Death Stranding PC pre-orders went live today on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. While Steam has the game’s release date listed as Summer 2020, Epic’s storefront simply says 2020.
Although Death Stranding’s PC publisher 505 Games previously signed an exclusivity deal with Epic for action-adventure title Control, that won’t be the case with Kojima Productions’ latest game.
“Now for the news that many of you have been waiting for… Death Stranding will launch simultaneously on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $59.99/£54.99/59.99 Euros.”, the pre-order announcement post reads.
Reviews for Death Stranding’s PS4 version have proven quite divisive, due to the game’s rather unusual approach to gameplay. While we’re waiting to get our hands on the PC version, here’s a reminder of the game’s star-studded cast.
