Destiny 2's Lumina-related hijinks continue in Excavation Site 2 at the yellow-tinged moon of Io. This is yet another potential Lumina chest location, so chances are that the game will send you off scouring the site sooner, rather than later.
Excavation Site 2 Lumina location can be found depicted on the map below, but if you're in need of concrete pointers, don't worry, because we've got those, too, just below the map itself.
Lumina Excavation Site 2 Treasure
Your best bet for the Excavation Site 2 chest will be to transmat at Giant's Scar and move toward the big tunnel-like rock formation nearby. Follow the path up to the other side of this tunnel, towards the cliff face, where you'll need to go up the ramp and move through the first few rooms of the facility.
Since you're going to have to go all the way toward the final room, keep a gun handy for all the Taken and Vex you're bound to come across. Hell, even the Cabal may join in on the fun every once in a while. In any case, the chest in question is just underneath the large glass window in the final room of this "dungeon".
This very same chest can also be found in a variety of other locations, such as High Plains and Spine of Keres, but since the locations rotate every hour or so, you're going to have to keep track of what's what.
