Diablo Immortal’s PC release addresses one of the biggest complaints fans had when its mobile counterpart was originally announced and, with a multiplatform launch now on the horizon, you might be wondering if crossplay is also planned.
The benefits of Diablo Immortal launching with cross-platform support are evident enough since it would allow players on PC and mobile devices to team up and vanquish evil together. Given how the title will also be free-to-play, it would also remove a barrier that otherwise keeps friends from playing together.
Diablo Immortal Crossplay Support
Thankfully, Diablo Immortal crossplay was confirmed in April 2022, when its PC version was unexpectedly announced.
“[…]you will be able to take the fight to the Burning Hell’s legions on PC upon launch with full cross-play and cross-progression support,” reads and article on developer Blizzard Entertainment’s official website.

This essentially means that you will not only be able to play alongside others regardless of your chosen platform, but you’ll also be able to continue from where you left off should you need to switch between PC and mobile yourself.
Needless to say, the inclusion of Diablo Immortal cross-platform support at launch is very much welcome. And, coupled with its lax system requirements, it could very much encourage more people to check out the game.
