Publisher and developer Techland has announced that it will share a 15-minute video of Dying Light 2 gameplay next week.
Dying Light 2’s 15-minute gameplay video will air during the fifth episode of Dying 2 Know, a show that has been delving into different aspects of the upcoming open-world game over the last couple of months.
Dying 2 Know’s fifth episode will be co-hosted by Aiden Caldwell, the voice behind protagonist Aiden Caldwell, and streamer Leah, going live on December 2 at 8 PM GMT/12 PM PT.
Players watching it on the developer’s Twitch channel will get to see “a whole new hoard of details about the quests and obstacles faced by the game’s protagonist.”
These include encounters with different types of monsters, leading into combat, alongside portions of traversing the game’s expansive city. You can watch a sneak peek in the video embedded below.
Previously, the developer discussed the effects of restoring abandoned structures and showcased some of Dying Light 2’s monsters in a gameplay video which also confirms that stealth is here to stay.
If you’d rather not wait until next year before smashing zombie heads while pulling off cool parkour moves, the original Dying Light is currently discounted as part of the Steam Autumn Sale, which runs until December 1.
Dying Light 2 is currently slated to launch on February 4, 2022, when it arrives on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
