Dying Light 2 has many side quests that send you all across Villedor as you try to help its NPCs. Some of them simply require you to retrieve items or kill targets while others, like The First Biomarker, put a safe code between you and your objective.
Dying Light 2’s The First Biomarker side quest becomes available in the Trinity district, once you progress enough through the main story. You pick it up from a man called McGregor who waits near a trading post. He claims to have invented the original biomarker and, after a bit of dialog, points you in its direction.
Dying Light 2 The First Biomarker Safe Code
The catch is that The First Biomarker is kept in a safe which you can only open with the proper safe code. You’ve likely dealt with others during your time playing Dying Light 2 and, thankfully, you’re given a riddle that helps you figure it out right away.
This is certainly among the easiest safe codes to figure out. The first number becomes smaller when you turn it upside down. The second is an odd number that becomes “even” if you take away a letter.
The third number is more or less spelled out by McGregor himself as three. This gives us the following code:
- Dying Light 2 The First Biomarker Safe Code: 973
All you need to do is follow the quest marker after speaking to the NPC, find the safe, and input the code. You’ll retriever the biomarker inside, after which you’ll need to return to McGregor. The side quest is a neat way to get yourself extra inhibitors and they certainly never hurt to have.
That’s what you need to know about Dying Light 2’s The First Biomarker side quest and the safe code required to complete it. For more on the game, here are a handful of locations where you can find additional inhibitors.
