Today’s Elden Ring gameplay preview video showcased 15+ minutes’ worth of gameplay from Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware’s upcoming action-RPG, and gave us our first look at its collector’s edition content.
Elden Ring actually has two collector’s editions that come with quite a few extra items and a price tag to suit them. They’re currently the only way to obtain a pretty awesome statue and an equally great helmet, both standing out among the physical goodies included in recent similar editions.
If your eyes are set on the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition, you’ll have to set aside €189.99 or your regional equivalent. For this price, you get a physical edition of the game, 3 art cards (135X170mm) depicting scenery from the game’s world, as well as a woven patch, 3 stickers featuring in-game emblem patterns, and a poster (39X334mm) of a mysterious hero from the past.
That’s not all, however, as you’ll also get the digital version of Elden Ring’s soundtrack, a steelbook, a 40-page hardcover art book, alongside the Statue of Malenia - Blade of Miquella. The 23 cm-tall statue is arguably the main draw of the collector’s edition and, judging by the screenshots, it looks to be quite a detailed rendition of a female warrior donning a badass sword and a distinctive Valkyrie-inspired helmet.
Elden Ring’s Premium Collector’s Edition costs €259.99 or your regional equivalent and features all the content in its less costly counterpart, with one big difference: it also includes an official Helmet Replica of Malenia – Blade of Miquella (1:1 scale) that comes with a display stand.
These helmets are numbered and only a limited run of 6000 units will be made available. Both editions were available on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s store but, at the time of writing, are sold out. You may find them at other retailers and it’s unclear if more will be made available further down the line.
Nevertheless, the content of both Elden Ring Collector’s Editions is quite impressive. The title is slated to launch on February 25 and is headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
