Whether you’re a mage in need of an upgrade or an adventurer seeking to pierce further into the unknown, you’ll sooner or later want to know how to get amber in Enshrouded.
Belonging to the plethora of resources found across Embervale, amber can prove trickier to track down, especially given how it doesn’t seem to appear in the game’s first biome.
How to Get Amber in Enshrouded
Although you’ll find it hard to locate Amber early on during your Enshrouded playthrough, finding the crafting material becomes possible once you reach the Revelwood.
As shown in the screenshot above, one location that houses it – and is particularly easy to reach – lies in the fog-covered valley east of the Revelwood Ancient Spire, a structure that also acts as a convenient fast travel point.
Similar to flintstone and clay, you’ll find the crafting material stuck to the sides of hills. Amber resembles the latter, to an extent, but you can tell them apart thanks to its yellowish hue and rock-like appearance.
Having found a location that houses Amber in Enshrouded, all that’s left to do is harvest it using a pickaxe. Make sure that you have enough stamina and inventory space before doing so.
How to use Amber in Enshrouded
In terms of uses, Amber is a fairly crucial resource for overall progress, given how it’s required to strengthen the flame at the altar, allowing you to push deeper into Embervale, past the increasingly dangerous fog.
In addition, you’ll also need it for several items that make up different Alchemist armor sets that are of particular interest to magically-inclined characters.
