It also facilitates better preparation for expeditions venturing further into uncharted territories.
How Many Bases Can You Have in Enshrouded?
- You can build an unlimited amount of bases as long as you have enough space, it isn't in the Enshrouded Biome, and you have enough Stone to build the Flame Altar.
To discover the maximum number of bases you can have in Enshrouded, focus on the initial structure essential for establishing them: the Flame Altar.
At the game’s onset, you’ll construct your first Flame Altar, and adding more to your collection is straightforward, especially considering their modest crafting cost of 5 Stone, a readily available resource in the game.
The Flame Altar not only defines the boundaries of your building area but also sets a limit on the total number of bases you can establish in Enshrouded.
When you interact with the altar, a menu appears with three choices. By selecting ‘Strengthen the Flame,’ you can access a detailed overview of the global benefits currently accessible to your character.
Within this menu, pay attention to the section labeled ‘Altar Activation Capacity.’ The first number displayed represents your current limit, while the second indicates the potential increase if you choose to strengthen the flame.
To strengthen the flame, you must gather the specific sacrificial offerings listed in the menu. It’s possible to craft multiple Flame Altars prior to expanding your limit, but remember that you can’t place more altars than your current capacity allows.
These additional altars serve as safe havens as you explore deeper into Embervale. Similar to the altar at your initial camp, they also function as fast travel points, greatly reducing travel time across the realm.
