Where can you find Deathclaws in Fallout 76? Alpha Deathclaws are among the fiercest creatures you can encounter in Fallout 76’s Appalachia. It turns out they’re also somewhat elusive, and finding their location isn’t always easy.
From what we’ve discovered, there doesn’t seem to be any location in Fallout 76’s vast open world that 100% guarantees the presence of an Alpha Deathclaw. However, as they are stronger variants of the regular Deathclaw, narrowing down the number of places to focus on while searching can be done.
Fallout 76 Deathclaw Locations
Potential Alpha Deathclaw locations include both the unmarked fissure sites north of Watoga and Fissure Site Alpha, which is also in close proximity to Watoga, alongside the deepest hall of the Emmett Mountain disposal site.
The Abandoned waste dump in the Mire, Deathclaw island, and Tanagra Town are also worth considering.
You can also spawn an Alpha Deathclaw during Fallout 76’s Project Paradise public event, but only if you keep all three friendly creatures alive until the final wave.
If you visit these locations and bump into other Deathclaw variants, server hopping is your go-to solution. Given the random nature of these spawns, the time it takes actually to find an Alpha Deathclaw can vary quite a bit.
