Fallout 76 can be described in an awful lot of ways - both good and bad - but one would be hard-pressed to say that there's not enough content available in the game. In order to plough through it just right, however, you need a solid character build.
Fallout 76 Perk Builder is a newly-released fan-built web tool allowing players to outline their characters before actually committing to their SPECIAL point allocation.
The tool in question - You Are SPECIAL Character Build Planner - is extremely detailed and easy to use, allowing for practically unlimited customisation of your planned character build without worrying about future point allocation, re-speccing, and such.
Do keep in mind, however, that there is a layer of polish missing at the time of writing, with pictures of Perk cards unavailable, and the app is still somewhat WIP, but it should do just fine for lightweight character planning all the same.
Among other related news, Bethesda has just recently confirmed that Fallout 76 will not be going free-to-play after all, though they'll be more than happy to ban you if you access the Developer Room as you did in their previous Fallout titles.
