Although the post-apocalyptic setting of Fallout 76 focuses mainly on survival and rebuilding a ravaged world, formal wear hasn’t gone anywhere. It goes to show that even nukes weren’t enough to wipe out people’s sense of style.
Here are a handful of formal wear items that count towards Fallout 76’s challenges.
Fallout 76 Formal Wear
While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look snazzy while battling mutated monstrosities, formal wear is also required for some of Fallout 76’s challenges. However, figuring out which items count towards progress can be a bit tricky.
If you’ve pre-ordered one of the game’s special editions, you already have a surefire way to complete formal wear challenges, as the American Patriot Suit and Hat count towards them. Another set of formal wear to aim for is the Enclave officer uniform, which is rewarded after completing the Officer on Deck quest. Alternatively, you can also purchase the full uniform from the Whitespring bunker.
If you’re more into dresses, the red dress formal wear is another available choice. You can find one at Riverside Manor, in a curio cabinet or purchase it from Tweed at the Whitespring Resort.
As it turns out, Tweed is an excellent source of formal wear in Fallout 76, so you might want to pay him a visit if you’re lacking in it. Other items which count are the Bathrobe, Monocle, Silver Shroud Costume and Dirty Tan Suit.
