Your Fallout 76 journey will inevitably take you through The Savage Divide and to the Top of the World. There, on the third floor. you’ll find Rose, a modified Miss Nanny that gives you the Flavors of Mayhem quest which tasks you with testing some of Rose’s weapons on the local wildlife.

After you’ve tested Rose’s Syringer on a Yao Guai, she’ll ask that you take her Explosive Bait through a similar process.

How To Craft Explosive Bait In Fallout 76?

Rose gives you the recipe for the Explosive Bait, but you’ll have to find the materials yourself. You’re looking for 2 adhesive, 1 copper, 1 fragmentation mine, alongside 1 Radstag meat. While they shouldn’t be that hard to find as you’re roaming across Fallout 76’s Appalachia, a marked explosive chest, found west of ATLAS Observatory and east of Monogah Power Plant, also happens to hold them.

Once you have the materials, go to the nearest Tinkerer’s Bench and craft the Explosive Bait. That leaves you with using it on a wild animal.

If you open your map, you’ll see that a yellow circle has popped up below the Top of the World, to the southwest. Head there, throw it in an area patrolled by wild animals and once the Explosive Bait is set off, this portion of the quest concludes.
