UPDATE, AUGUST 28: Far Cry 5's final DLC, Dead Living Zombies, is out today!
If you were heavily into video games about 5-10 years back, then you will surely remember the absolute abundance of zombie-themed video games we were bombarded with back then. It's not like zombies are a rare theme nowadays, as Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies proves, but they were overwhelming back then.
In any case, with the undead being on a downward spiral, it's only natural that one of Far Cry 5's campy throwback expansions would deal with them. After all - and strange as though that might sound - Far Cry hasn't ever really dealt with zombies!
The third and (potentially) final of Far Cry 5's expansion packs, Dead Living Zombies will go down the same path as all the previous x-packs have. Namely, the DLC will offer a fair bit of new content - the majority of which was created using the Arcade Editor, mind - while also letting players take some of the fun stuff back to Hope County.
Playing Dead Living Zombies, players will team up with a film director who will have them take down the undead across rooftops, farmlands, military bases, and other similarly memorable places, with the completion of each level unlocking its Score Attack mode for arcade whimsy.
As usual, all players will be granted access to a whole set of new tools and content for Arcade Editor for free with the release of Dead Living Zombies, which is set to release on 28th of August, at the price of $7.99.
