Far Cry New Dawn is primarily a drug-addled post-apocalyptic romp where people die in droves - fairly close to the established Far Cry formula, really. That said, there are some puzzles to contend with, too, and the Prophecy is a particularly curious one.
The Prophecy comes into play when you first attempt to reach out to cultists of New Eden, who won't want anything to do with you until you do a thing for them, as it usually goes.
How to Solve the Prophecy Puzzle in New Dawn?
The Prophecy puzzle in New Dawn begins almost immediately when you reach the small island the quest is located on. First, you'll be drawn to investigate beams of hot-pink light, with visions of Joseph Seed soon making themselves apparent.
Eventually, Seed is going to lead you to a small Eden's Gate cross which, when interacted with, will award you a special amulet you will then use to solve the puzzle. The quest itself is similar to the church lights one encountered in Resident Evil 4, for example. You're going to have to align said amulet with giant Eden's Gate crosses across the island. This is done by completing an objective and then locating the right spot from which the amulet must be used.
First, you'll have to use Molotovs to burn the vines off one Eden's Gate cross. Then, you're going to have to kickstart a windmill, and finally, destroy various clutter. This means there are three special Eden's Gate crosses to activate, the completion of which will lead you to The Word of Joseph, an item required to continue the main story.
There will be contextual tips on where you need to go and what you need to do to complete the puzzle, of course, so don't worry about it if this guide alone doesn't make sense. We hope it does help, though!
