FFXIV’s Hatching-tide 2022 event returns this year with a handful of springtime activities and new rewards that add a splash of bright pink to your character and home’s aesthetic. Its start and end dates mark the period of time between which you can chase these new items, as you take a break from the new main scenario quests added in patch 6.1.
FFXIV’s Hatching-tide 2022 event is one of many available to the MMORPG’s players throughout the year, kicking off shortly after patch 6.1 arrives on live servers.
Final Fantasy 14’s Hatching-tide 2022 event has locked down its start date to April 13 at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET/8 PM GMT. Its end date is then slated to occur on April 27 at 6.59 AM PT/9.59 AM ET/2.59 PM GMT, giving players two weeks to claim its new rewards.

To participate in FFXIV’s Hatching-tide event, you’ll first want to make sure that your character has reached level 15. You’ll then want to seek out Jihli Aliapoh, an NPC which can be found in Old Gridania.
You’ll find her on the Upper Decks at coordinates X:10.2, Y:9.4. Talking to the NPC lets you pick up the quest called “Hippity, Hoppity, Happily” which you’ll need to complete if you plan on obtaining this year’s rewards.
These include the Hatching Bunny minion, Eat Egg emote, alongside the Eggsemplary Basket and Hatching-tide Mobile furnishing items.
In addition, items from previous years will be available at certain vendors, which is especially great if you’ve only recently started your journey through the MMORPG. You can take a look at the new goodies over on the event’s special website.
