Synced: Off Planet is an exciting upcoming PvPvE survival game where players attempt to survive in a world overrun with feral nanobot-infested “zombies” that behave precisely as zombies do. Developers described it as a “PvE game with narrative elements”, which didn’t help much on its own.
Having said that, the new trailer showcases Synced: Off Planet gameplay, and it is now much clearer what sort of a game we should expect from this particular project.
The trailer itself isn’t nearly long enough to dissect all the complex gameplay mechanics that got shown-off, but we can glean a few things still. For example, the PvPvE features seem to be fairly pronounced, as well as the survival mechanics. The gunplay seems similar to what we’ve seen in the recent World War Z third-person shooter.
Synced: Off Planet will focus on locating advanced space-shuttles and using them to leave the planet. Of course, hordes of vicious humanoids will attempt to put a stop to that. The shuttles themselves will probably have limited space for players to inhabit, which is where the PvP portion of the game will undoubtedly come in.
