Ubisoft revealed Anno 117: Pax Romana in June, and we now have the first screenshots for the next installment of the legendary strategy city builder series. The game is currently being developed by Ubisoft Mainz in Germany and is due to be released in 2025.
In Anno 117: Pax Romana, players will journey back to the second century, specifically to the year 117 AD, to shape the Roman Empire through dominance or economic expansion. As governor, you have the option to lead a rebellion or unite diverse cultures. However, as with all games in the Anno series, how you build your empire is entirely up to you.
The First Anno 117: Pax Romana Screenshots are here
The Steam Store page is now live, showcasing the first set of screenshots. These images admittedly don’t give us much to go on as they only feature the landscapes around which players will build their empires.
As you can see there are no buildings or units visible, but we’ll take any scrap of information we can get at this point.
Anno 117: Pax Romana is in development for the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and will be released in 2025.
