GRIP: Combat Racing is what happens when developers decide that, no, there will be no talk of realism in their awesome racing game - all that matters are explosions, badass armoured vehicles, and an absolute disregard of physics. GRIP has all of that and more, running at breakneck speeds in Unreal Engine 4.
Originally inspired by the old Rollcage racing titles, GRIP: Combat Racing aims to deliver a driving experience like no other, with one of its main draws being the immense speeds at which vehicles will be running into one another. We're talking really fast here - over 750 mph!
Developers promise 15 different armoured cars for us to race across 22 varied tracks, ranging from one hostile planet to another. Think deserts, frozen wastes, toxic dumps... if you can imagine it, chances are, GRIP: Combat Racing will have you blow enemies up over it.
One of the most important features of GRIP will certainly be the tracks themselves, which will have players racing alongside walls, ceilings, doing loops, collecting upgrades, and gunning down other players along the way. All of this will be available across both singleplayer and multiplayer, of course.
GRIP: Combat Racing is set to release from Early Access on 6th of November, with the full build featuring practically double the amount of content that's now available. The game already has a 'Very Positive' review rating on Steam, so you should have a pretty good idea of what you're going to be getting.
