There’s no shortage of side missions in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Icarus Blues is one of many you can complete as you battle Skell and Wolves across Auroa. Similar to others of its kind, it tasks you with scouring the archipelago for various materials or information.
Regardless if you’re a completionist or just someone who wants XP and Skell Credits, here’s everything we know about how to complete the Icarus Blues side mission in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint Icarus Blues
In order to start the Icarus Blues side mission in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, make your way to the Channels province. The NPC you need to talk to waits in between Lake Browne and Misty Lake, on the northern side of Leviathan Island.
The woman will tell you that she’s looking for drone parts since she’s aware of scientists that pay well for them. The next step involves finding the two scientists, who you learn are named Stahr and Romero. They wait in the East Wing of the Channels Port. Look for a river near the Port and you’ll find them on its east side. Go inside the building and talk to them.
They’ll task you with destroying one of Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s Azrael drones and bringing its communication components to the scientists. First, however, the Icarus Blues side mission sends you on a detour to Assemble Hall Omega O2, where you’ll need to loot a blueprint for the drone to know which components to remove from it.
You’ll find the hall on the east side of Mirror Lake in Restricted Area 01. Once inside, you’ll need to learn the location of Dodson from one of the scientists. The grey-haired Dodson is nearby, within the hall.
The reason he’s important is his access card, which is needed to hack a terminal in the hall and progress Icarus Blues further. You can find it on the second floor of the western wing of the hall, in a box that’s on a desk.
Having obtained the access card, go back and use the terminal to obtain the blueprints for the Azrael drones. All that’s left to do is find one. You’ll likely have encountered plenty in your time roaming across Auroa in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Shaped like an airplane, these drones summon Wolves and drones if they spot you when flying overhead. One way to destroy them is by (clumsily) keeping close with a helicopter and slowly damaging them with its rotor blades. That being said, a properly placed sniper rifle shot will also do.
Once you’ve downed the drone, simply loot it for the required component #CX2067 and head back to Romero and Stahr. Talk to both of them and the Icarus Blues side mission is done granting you 1,600 XP and 1,500 Skell Credits.
