Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s Open Beta was supposed to go live today, but it seems Ubisoft has been experiencing some technical issues with the game. We’ve just received information that the Open Beta will be slightly delayed.
While Ubisoft hasn’t gone into much detail on the Breakpoint’s Open Beta delay, they did say that they need more time to prepare their server infrastructure. Since the game requires a constant Internet connection, servers need to be as stable as possible.
According to the official Open Beta launch schedule, Breakpoint servers were supposed to go live today at 5 PM CEST. This is no longer the case, as per the official Ghost Recon Twitter.
Ghosts, in order to guarantee a smooth experience for all players we need to finalize the preparation of our infrastructure before we can open the servers to everyone. We apologize for the delay and will post an update ASAP.

The latest word from Ubisoft is that they’re investigating the relevant issue: “We are currently investigating an issue that is impacting connection. Our teams are working on a solution and will continue to update you via this thread. We appreciate your patience.”
The silver lining is that we do know for certain why the connectivity errors keep persisting.
While we wait for further Open Beta launch confirmation, check out the official system requirements, and watch the latest gameplay trailer featured below.
